DISARMING A SYSTEM AS AN EXTRA USER OR MANAGER

If you enter the premises when the system is armed, the beeper will begin to beep with an intermittent tone to

indicate that the entry period has begun. During the beeping, you must not enter other areas of the system. If

you do, an alarm will be triggered. During this entry period you can disarm the system with your code.

1. The entry period starts as soon as you open the entrance

door, or when you enter the entry zone. You can switch off

the system without activating the alarm as long as the

beeping continues. As soon as the beeping starts, the

display is illuminated.

The current date and time are shown on the display.

2. Press the 0 key and then enter your code. A ‘*’ appears in

the display for every key you press. Use the 0 key to cancel

an incorrect entry.

3. According to the extra options your code has, you may be

asked whether you want to disarm. If this is the case, press

the accept key ‘üü’.

The system is disarmed.

If there have been alarms or faults since arming, instead of

‘Area 1 disarmed’ the message ‘In Operator Log’ will

appear. See also ‘Disarming after an alarm as a basic or

on page 29th.

4. If you have finished, press the accept key to return to the

time and date.

Otherwise you can select another option list using the ‘ââ‘ -

‘áá‘ keys.

The current time and date appears automatically.
