READING THE ENGINEER LOG

(for managers)

As a manager you can read the engineer log. This log stores all events (including arming and disarming). The

events remain stored even after the system has been armed. A total of 1,000 events can be stored. The

operation is the same as for reading the operator log.

1. This is the first option menu.

Use the ‘ââ‘ key to move to ‘E. Log/Time/Date’.

2. Press the accept key when you are at this option.

3. The first option is to display the engineer log. You can look

at the engineer log by pressing the accept key.

4. The first event is a code 4 disarm.

Press the ‘ââ' key for the next event.

5. You are now at event 2. Here there has been a break-in

alarm (Zone 3). Press ‘0’ for more information.

You now see that the alarm was triggered in zone 3, the

kitchen.

6. Press ‘0’ again to see the date and time of the event.

The alarm was triggered on Sunday 3 March at 23.33 hours

in area 1.

7. Use the ‘ââ’ key to move to the next event.

8. Press the reject key to exit the engineer log. Since all

events up to a maximum of 1,000 are stored in this log, it

may take a little time before you reach the end.
